Sybiha holds first ever meeting of FMs of Ukraine, Kingdom of Bhutan in New Delhi

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Kingdom of Bhutan D. N. Dhungyel on the sidelines of one of Asia’s largest geopolitical forums, Raisina Dialogue, in New Delhi.

“I was pleased to meet with D. N. Dhungyel at Raisina Dialogue 2025. The first ever meeting between foreign ministers of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Bhutan. I conveyed President Zelenskyy’s best wishes to His Majesty the King of Bhutan, emphasizing our interest in expanding bilateral cooperation,” the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted Sybiha as saying.

As the minister noted, potential areas for mutually beneficial partnership, in particular in the field of energy and infrastructure, were also discussed at the meeting. “I also thanked Bhutan for its support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, including at the UN,” the Ukrainian foreign minister noted.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that from March 17 to March 19, Sybiha is paying a working visit to India. The main goal of the visit is to participate in the Raisina Dialogue forum. On the sidelines of the conference, Sybiha will hold bilateral meetings with the heads of foreign policy departments of a number of countries in South and Southeast Asia and Africa.
