Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers helping victims of Russian UAV attack on Kharkiv
A team from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) worked at the site damaged by yet another Russian drone attack on Kharkiv.
“The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in Kharkiv region has been operating at the scene of the latest attack. Volunteers searched the damaged buildings and surrounding areas for victims, provided first aid to the injured, and offered psychological first aid to those affected and their families,” URCS said on Facebook Wednesday.
Humanitarian aid is currently being distributed to residents according to previously assessed needs.
As reported, on Tuesday evening, Kharkiv was hit by 16 Russian UAV strikes. Twenty people were injured, multi-story buildings and private houses, a medical facility, and civilian infrastructure were damaged.
