Rada may hold extraordinary session on May 8 to ratify minerals deal with USA
The Verkhovna Rada may convene for an extraordinary session on May 8 to ratify the agreement on mineral resources with the United States, said Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko (European Solidarity faction).
"They are planning to convene an extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada on May 8 and ratify the minerals deal with the United States," he wrote on Telegram on Friday.
MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak (Holos faction) also confirms on Telegram: "voting for ratification of the minerals deal between the USA and Ukraine is planned for May 8."
As reported, corresponding draft law No. 0309 on the ratification of the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the United States of America on the establishment of the American-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on May 1.
