Ukraine may receive 3 mln shells in 2025, 1.8 mln of them under Czech Initiative – Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine expects to receive three million artillery shells in 2025, 1.8 million of them under the Czech Initiative" The statements were made during Zelenskyy's answers to journalists' questions at a joint press conference with Czech President Peter Pavel.
"Last year, you helped us a lot, a lot with artillery shells, and we expect that this year the cooperation will be just as effective. We talked - this year there may be 1.8 million shells, this is a very strong decision. Tomorrow we will have a meeting with defense companies of the Czech Republic. We are preparing more specifics," Zelenskyy said at a press conference.
A little later, the President of Ukraine clarified that the total amount of artillery ammunition that can be supplied by partners to Ukraine is much larger.
"There is indeed not only the Czech initiative, we are grateful for it, but the Russians should know that we are counting on three million artillery shells, and it's not just them that North Korea will help - we have allies who are helping Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
