Zelenskyy ready to meet only with Putin in Istanbul – Podoliak
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not meet with anyone in Istanbul except Vladimir Putin, adviser to the head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak said on The Breakfast Show on Wednesday.
"No, of course not. Well, that's not the format," Podoliak said, answering the question of whether Zelenskyy would meet with another Russian representative if Putin did not come to the meeting.
Podoliak said a possible bilateral meeting in Istanbul at a lower level would be pointless, saying even people with the formal status of ministers are unlikely to discuss fundamental issues or have the authority to make decisions.
