The Kursk offensive operation was the most effective in this regard. Thus, in the period from August 6, 2024 to May 25, 2025, our defenders captured 971 Russian Armed Forces soldiers," the General Staff's comment on the POW exchange on Telegram reads.
It is reported that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to take active actions in Kursk region.
"A numerically superior enemy can only be defeated by non-standard solutions. The Kursk campaign was just such an unexpected and asymmetric move, the success of which has been recognized by the world," the General Staff emphasizes.
