Sybiha after UNSC: World will not tolerate Russia's barbaric attacks on civilians
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said after the UNSC meeting that the world will no longer tolerate Russia's barbaric attacks on civilians in Ukraine and its unwillingness to participate in the peace process.
“Yesterday’s UN Security Council meeting on Russia's war against Ukraine made it clear: the world will not tolerate Russia’s barbaric attacks against civilians and its unwillingness to engage constructively in a meaningful peace process,” he wrote on the social network X on Friday.
The Foreign Minister thanked partners for supporting Ukraine's call for a 30-day unconditional ceasefire.
“Ukraine values the broad support by the US, European, and other international partners pushing Russia to accept our call for a 30+ day unconditional ceasefire — a crucial foundation for a comprehensive, just and lasting peace based on the UN Charter,” Sybiha stressed.
