Two dead, about 20 injured in Sumy missile strike
Two people were killed, about 20 injured, including a minor, as a result of a missile strike by Russian occupiers on the city center of Sumy on Tuesday, Sumy regional military administration reported.
"About 20 people were injured as a result of an enemy attack in Sumy. Among the wounded is a 17-year-old child. There are also people in serious condition. Unfortunately, two people died. Condolences to their loved ones," the report says.
According to preliminary data, at about 9:00 on Tuesday, the regional center was hit five times by long-range multiple rocket launcher systems. The hits damaged a medical facility, cars, and houses. A headquarters has been deployed to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack.
As reported, the enemy hit the center of Sumy, two cars were completely burned down. Earlier, there was information about one dead and an unknown, but large number of wounded.
