In Sumy, three dead, 20 injured, incl two children – city administration
The number of dead as a result of a rocket strike by Russian occupiers on the city center of Sumy on Tuesday increased to three, 20 injured, said the head of Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.
"The number of dead has increased to three people. There are 20 injured, including two children," Kryvosheyenko wrote on the Telegram channel.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported 16 injured.
"In one of the districts of the city, a shell hit the road surface. As a result of the explosion, a car caught fire, the fire was quickly extinguished. In another neighborhood, an apartment building was damaged - without large-scale destruction or fire. As well as three private houses, a warehouse, a garage, four cars and one of the hospital buildings. The territories are being surveyed. Rescuers, medics and law enforcement officers are working at the scene," the report says.
As reported, the enemy fired long-range multiple rocket launchers at the center of Sumy at about 9:00 on Tuesday. Earlier, there was information about two dead and about 20 wounded, including one minor.
