Zelenskyy: Only through true unity can we create security conditions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking at the Global Security Forum on Thursday, called for a common policy and unity that strengthens the global weight of the EU and NATO.

"I ask you to support decisions that will not leave aside European nations that deserve EU and NATO membership. This applies to Ukraine, Moldova, the Balkan countries and others. Everyone deserves fair decisions. And I call on you to support every initiative that strengthens the global weight of the EU and NATO," Zelenskyy said.

"After all, only through true unity can we create security conditions for our neighbors - conditions that will make them safe for us and force them to act in a way that does not threaten anyone, including themselves," he stressed.

According to Zelenskyy, respect for human life is not just a moral value, it is a security factor.

"Therefore, our common policy must provide support for those who value life and restrictions for those who show contempt for it. This can only be done at the level of the whole of Europe and the Euro-Atlantic community," he said at the Global Security Forum.

Zelenskyy emphasized that only together are we strong enough to protect our way of life and life itself.
