Former Defense Ministry official, former heads of defense enterprise supplied unusable missile launchers – prosecutors
The former head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and former heads of a defense enterprise who supplied unusable missile systems and caused damage to the state in the amount of UAH 90 million have been reported, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has said.
On Monday, he informed in a telegram channel that the Prosecutor General's Office is conducting procedural management of the pre-trial investigation into the case of the supply of unusable anti-tank missile systems to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the amount of more than UAH 90 million.
According to Kravchenko, the criminal responsibility for the specified criminal proceedings was determined by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
"The investigation established the involvement of the former head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Defense and two former heads of a defense enterprise in this crime," the Prosecutor General emphasized.
