URCS Director: Ukraine's recovery depends on cooperation on local, national and intl levels
Maksym Dotsenko, Director of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), said sustainable recovery in Ukraine is impossible without close cooperation on the local, national, and international levels.
"Resilient recovery of Ukraine is impossible without close cooperation – on the local, national, and international levels," Dotsenko wrote on Facebook following a discussion at the Lithuanian Embassy during Ukrainian Recovery Conference (URC-2025).
The conference focused on urban and community resilience, including the Lviv Resilience Plan, he said.
"The event centered on projects in rehabilitation, energy and transport infrastructure, and collaboration between governments, businesses, and civil society," Dotsenko said.
He highlighted the UNBROKEN initiative as a comprehensive rehabilitation ecosystem enabled by broad partnerships, and stressed URCS's active involvement from the outset.
