Poroshenko Foundation strengthens cooperation with Ukraine Focus mission: Medevacs and pickup trucks - to the front
The Poroshenko Foundation announced the expansion of its partnership with the American mission Ukraine Focus, which has been providing Ukrainian military with medical evacuation vehicles since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the website of European Solidarity reports.
During the opening of the photo exhibition "Focused on Humanity: Convoys, Courage and Compassion", the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, announced the decision to allocate UAH 4 million to support the organization's activities. He opened the exhibition together with Maryna Poroshenko.
According to Poroshenko, Ukraine Focus started with 14 vehicles, and has now transferred over 400 to the front. Part of them is paid for by the Poroshenko Foundation. The new agreements with the director of the mission, Birman Brock, provide for the delivery of not only Medevacs (medical evacuation vehicles), but also pickup trucks.
"Each such car is dozens of lives saved every month," Poroshenko stressed, adding that their importance for the front is no less than that of drones, weapons or electronic warfare equipment. The foundation also noted the professionalism of the American team that provides delivery, logistics and technical maintenance of cars in Ukraine.
