NSDC gives three months to law enforcement, control bodies to identify, recover sanctioned assets into state's income

The decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the introduction of a moratorium on business inspections, put into effect by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, provides for the identification and recovery of assets subject to sanctions into the state's income within the next three months.

"Together with the National Police of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, with the participation of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, and the State Bureau of Investigations, take additional mutually agreed measures within three months to establish and identify the assets of individuals and legal entities to which special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) have been applied in the form of asset blocking, intensify work on the recovery of assets belonging to such persons to the state's income, as well as ensure the development and implementation of additional mechanisms aimed at fulfilling the relevant tasks," according to Paragraph 1 of the Resolution of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
