New sanctions against the Russian Federation will destroy any Russian narrative and create a "very difficult situation" for the Russian economy, believes head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
"I believe that the new sanctions against the Russian Federation will destroy any Russian narrative and some pro-Russian forces that are still trying to convince that nothing will happen and that the Kremlin and Putin will continue this game. You should not believe Russian propaganda. They lie because they are afraid," his Telegram channel says.
According to Yermak, these sanctions "will create a very difficult situation" for the Russian economy and this will work together with "the huge losses of the Russian Federation on the front line, and people will start asking Putin louder: 'Why did you start all this? And why don't you want to end the war?'"
"Regarding Medvedev's stupid statements. Maybe he was drunk. They want to continue fighting. The war can only be stopped by force. We must act. I believe in America. I believe in President Trump. When the US leads, the free world follows. When America is serious, Russia retreats," the President’s Office head concluded.
As reported, US President Donald Trump announced on July 28 a new deadline for reaching an agreement between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, which will not exceed 10-12 days instead of the previously planned 50 days.
