Ukrainian PM: We expect business inspection moratorium to function flawlessly

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko expects the moratorium on business inspections by law enforcement to be implemented flawlessly.
"An equally important topic was the introduction of a moratorium on law enforcement inspections of businesses. We expect this moratorium to work seamlessly so that businesses can focus solely on growing their enterprises and employing people," Svyrydenko said during a national television broadcast on Tuesday, commenting on the first week of the new government's work.
She also noted that the government has launched an audit of all bureaucratic procedures, in addition to those previously abolished, eliminated, or digitalized.
"Our task is to both reduce bureaucratic procedures and audit all state expenditures to see whether we have resources to reallocate additional funds, primarily toward the defense sector," the Prime Minister added.
As reported, on July 23, the Cabinet of Ministers approved an implementation plan for the National Security and Defense Council's decision to impose a moratorium on unwarranted inspections and interference in business operations. Among other directives, it tasked the State Regulatory Service and relevant ministries with submitting proposals within a month to further deregulate and reduce excessive permits.
