Kyiv Regional Military Administration allocates over UAH 412 mln to assist military, invests in training civilians – Kalashnyk

Kyiv Regional Military Administration has allocated over UAH 412 million to assist the military in performing security tasks at the front, and is also investing in training civilians, said the head of the regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

"We have already allocated over UAH 412 million from the regional budget to perform security tasks. We are helping the military with what is really needed at the front: pickup trucks, drones, electronic warfare systems, other equipment. Supporting the defenders and the security of Kyiv region is the main priority of our team," his Telegram channel says.

Kalashnyk noted that, on behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, they are working on a regional strategy aimed at supporting the Defense and Security Forces.

"A special pride is the Clear Sky project, which was born precisely in Kyiv region. Together with the military, we developed our own air combat tactics - drones intercept drones. This is the result of teamwork: the military, communities and regional authorities. We have almost 800 cases of downing. And the main project is being scaled up to other regions," he explained.

According to Kalashnyk, the administration is also investing in the future of defense, namely in the training of civilians. The Center for National Resistance Training has already graduated more than 5,000 people who have received first aid, shooting, drone control, tactics, and countering PSYOP.

"We are currently building a new location for the center with a training ground, obstacle course, and training blocks. It will accept the first participants in September. The security of the region is a daily job, and I am grateful to everyone who gets involved," the head of the regional military administration said.
