Construction of Kvartal City shopping mall begins in Ukrainian city of Lviv
Construction has commenced on the Kvartal City shopping and entertainment center in Lviv, located at 313 Shevchenka Street. The opening is slated for the fourth quarter of 2027, according to a statement on the website of Retail & Development Advisor (RDA), the exclusive leasing broker for the project.
According to RDA Project Director Alina Abramtseva, Kvartal City will serve as a multifunctional space designed to meet the daily needs and leisure demands of the community. The mall will feature a diverse shopping experience with international and national fashion retailers, children's markets, electronics stores, perfumeries, cosmetic shops, and more.
The site is strategically located along the international M10 highway, which links Lviv with Krakovets on the Polish border. It also lies in close proximity to Lviv's ring road.
Kvartal City will comprise three floors with a total area nearing 50,000 square meters and a leasable area of 20,000 square meters. The complex will house 75 retail outlets. It will include a children's entertainment zone, a cinema, and a spacious 2,000-square-meter food court and restaurant area, along with the core shopping facilities Abramtseva described.
Plans also include a 8,900-square-meter underground parking facility and a 14,600-square-meter multi-level car park, providing a total of 523 parking spaces.
All required construction permits have already been secured. Preparatory site work is complete, and actual construction is scheduled to begin this September.
