Restoration of networks after hostilities by DTEK companies in H1 2025 equals volumes for entire 2024

In the first half of 2025, the power engineers of the distribution system operators of DTEK Grids repaired 1,441 power facilities from those that were damaged as a result of hostilities.

"These figures are almost equal to the volume of the entire restored energy infrastructure in 2024 - 1,503 facilities," the holding reported on Monday.

From January to June 2025, the specialists of DTEK Grids managed to repair a total of 1,298 power transmission lines with a length of over 3,300 km and 143 substations and transformer and distribution points after enemy attacks on the capital, Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.

"Over these six months, our energy specialists have restored electricity supply to over 3 million Ukrainians. Unfortunately, the price of electricity can be too high - in February, a truck crane driver, Hennadiy Musatov, died in Dnipropetrovsk region due to shelling," said Alina Bondarenko, CEO of DTEK Grids.

According to the company, DTEK Grids' repair teams will begin work as soon as they receive permission from the military and the State Emergency Service. Currently, 98% of all energy facilities that have been destroyed as a result of hostilities since February 24, 2022 have been restored. The remaining 2% cannot yet be repaired due to the security situation and the lack of necessary equipment.

DTEK Grids develops the business of electricity distribution and operation of power grids in Kyiv city, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa regions. The holding's companies serve 5.1 million households and 150,000 enterprises.
