Czech Foreign Minister Lipavsky visits Ternopil region – Nehoda

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky has visited Ternopil region, Ternopil Regional State Administration head Vyacheslav Nehoda has said.

"Together with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko, I met with the chief diplomat and delegation of the Czech Republic. First of all, we honored the memory of the Czechoslovak legionnaires in the village of Kalynivka, Zborivska urban territorial community. We laid flowers at the Memorial to the Czechoslovak legionnaires," Nehoda wrote in the telegram channel on Monday.

In addition, in the OVA, the parties held a meeting with the Czech delegation, the Czech Ambassador to Ukraine and the Czech Consul General in Lviv, during which they discussed the possibilities of establishing and developing bilateral cooperation.

"We discussed the possibilities of implementing the project for the reconstruction of the polyclinic of the Ternopil regional clinical hospital," Nehoda added.

He also thanked the Czech delegation for its unwavering position in supporting the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, humanitarian, military, economic, and financial assistance.
