Ukrzaliznytsia evacuates 61 from Donetsk, including 17 kids
On Monday, August 19, an evacuation train from Donetsk region to safe regions took 61 people, including 17 children, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) has said.
"Together with local authorities and volunteers, we are evacuating residents of frontline areas. Yesterday, we took another 61 passengers from Donetsk region to safe cities by evacuation train. Among the passengers are 17 children and citizens with limited mobility from Dobropillya, Bilozersk, Svyatohirsk and Lymanska communities. Residents also evacuated with their pets," the message on the Telegram said on Tuesday.
It will be reported that the evacuees are heading to Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia, Smila, Kamiansky, Oleksandria, Khmelnytsky and Lviv. In each city, they are expected by representatives of local authorities and volunteers who help with resettlement and accommodation in a new place.
