Poltava region declares radiation threat instead of air alert due to system glitch
Due to attacks by enemy drones, the alert system in the Poltava region failed, as a result of which a radiation threat was declared, Regional Military Administration head Volodymyr Kohut has said.
"For the information of the residents of the region. Today, during the air alert, due to another attack by enemy UAVs, the alert system failed and instead of the air alert, a radiation threat was mistakenly declared," he said on Telegram.
