Zelenskyy doesn’t believe that Russia making concessions

Russia's statements that they are ready not to seize Ukraine further are not concessions, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting with German Finance Minister and Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil.
"As for concessions to Russia, I don't know about that. I don't think that the things that were said by the Russian side, that they are ready not to seize Ukraine further, are concessions. I don't think that concessions are the fact that they are offering us to leave the territories that Russia does not control," Zelenskyy said, answering a question from an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent.
At the same time, he noted that even a dialogue about this is outside international law.
In addition, the president added that the timing of the meeting of the leaders depends solely on the Russian side, as well as on the United States.
"Because it was the United States of America that proposed, let me remind you, a ceasefire on March 7. We supported it," Zelenskyy explained.
Earlier, it was reported that US Vice President J.D. Vance said that the Russians, in his opinion, have shown a willingness to be flexible regarding some of their demands.
"I think the Russians have made significant concessions to President Trump for the first time in 3 1/2 years of this conflict. They've actually been willing to be flexible on some of their core demands. They've talked about what would be necessary to end the war," he told NBC News' Meet the Press.
