In Toretsk, servicemen of Liut brigade carry out complex and spectacularly successful operation
Sappers of the Tsunami assault regiment of the special purpose brigade United assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine Liut destroyed a strategically important object in Toretsk - the building of an old swimming pool, the press service of the National Police of Ukraine reports.
"Sappers of the Assault Regiment Tsunami of the National Police Brigade Liut carried out a task that others would call suicide. In Toretsk, they destroyed the building of an old swimming pool - a strategically important object that could have ended up under the control of the occupiers. From there, the enemy could secretly advance almost right up to our positions," the message posted on Telegram says.
Considering the potential threat, the brigade leadership decided to destroy the building and deprive the enemy of their "trump cards".
"To plant the explosives, the sappers, under the cover of armored vehicles, went directly to the front line. The operation was extremely complex, risky - and spectacularly successful," the National Police concluded.
