China and Hungary must react, time for new tough sanctions against Russia - Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that after the latest Russian strike on Kyiv the world should react clearly and and new tough sanctions should be introduced against Russia.
"We expect China's reaction to what is happening. China has repeatedly called for a non-expansion of the war and a ceasefire. This is not because of Russia. We expect Hungary's reaction. The death of children should definitely cause more emotions than anything else. We expect the reaction of everyone in the world who called for peace, and now is more often silent than taking principled positions," Zelenskyy said on Telegram on Thursday morning.
He stressed that the time has come for new sanctions against Russia. "And it is definitely time for new tough sanctions against Russia for everything it does. All deadlines have already been broken, dozens of opportunities for diplomacy have been ruined. Russia must feel responsible for every strike, for every day of this war. Eternal memory to all the victims of Russia!" Zelenskyy said.
