URCS provides assistance to victims of Russian airstrike on Kyiv
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is providing assistance to victims of a massive Russian combined UAV and missile attack on one of its locations in Kyiv.
"The rapid response unit of the URCS is working at one of the sites of liquidation of the consequences of the shelling in Kyiv. Volunteers are providing first aid, as well as first psychological assistance to the victims and their relatives," the URCS reported on Facebook on Thursday.
Volunteers have set up a URCS aid point where victims, local residents, rescuers and special services employees can charge gadgets, drink water, tea or coffee.
Volunteers from the Darnytsia district organization of the URCS are also involved in the response.
As reported, as of 11 a.m. on Thursday, 45 people were injured as a result of the massive enemy attack in Kyiv. Information about the death of 14 people has been confirmed, including three minors - a 2-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing.
