Syrsky urges urgent completion of underground shelters at training centers
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, during a monthly meeting on training issues, has urged strict adherence to security requirements at training grounds and training centers, in particular, he noted the need to concentrate efforts to complete the construction of underground shelters in training centers as soon as possible.
"The main topic of the meeting was security measures in training centers in the face of constant enemy drone and missile attacks. There were reports on the construction of protective structures, as well as the state of providing training centers with air defense, surveillance and air cover," Syrsky said on Facebook on Wednesday.
The Commander-in-Chief noted that a significant amount of work has been completed in the security sector.
"Underground structures are being built to house military personnel who are training; covered communication passages are being set up at shooting ranges, etc. In some centers, 100% of personnel already live in underground shelters permanently... Following the meeting, he set tasks for resolving problematic issues. He emphasized the need to concentrate efforts to complete the arrangement of underground shelters in training centers as soon as possible," he said.
