Ukraine neutralizes 48 of 75 Russian drones attacks overnight, hits recorded in 6 locations
Ukrainian air defense forces overnight shot down and suppressed 48 strike UAVs during a massive combined attack last night, but 26 enemy drones were hit in six locations.
As the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Telegram on Thursday morning that Russia attacked with 75 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber and drones of other types from various directions, about 40 of them – Shahed UAVS.
"The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 48 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and drones of other types in the north, east, and center of the country. One enemy UAV was in the air," the report said.
As reported, on the night of September 17, the air defense neutralized 136 of the 172 drones launched by the occupiers, and two missiles and 36 strike UAVs were recorded at 13 locations.
On the night of September 16, 89 out of 113 enemy-launched drones were neutralized, 22 strike UAVs were recorded hitting six locations, and debris from downed strike drones fell on two locations. On the night of September 15, 59 out of 84 enemy-launched drones were neutralized. All three missiles and 25 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 13 locations.
