Ukraine has already been given a draft security guarantees from European partners, which should take into account the unsuccessful experience of the Budapest Memorandum and the need to update the international security system, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has said.

"Today, a draft security guarantees from our European partners is already on the table, this is very important. But such a set of guarantees from Europe, from the United States, absolutely clear, absolutely effective guarantees, this is what will be the key to any possible aggression from Russia in the future," he said on Telegram.

He noted that this is exactly what the president is working on together with his team. Yermak emphasized the "unsuccessful experience of the Budapest Memorandum" and other agreements that did not work, and the need to change the "security structure."

The head of the Office of the President added that Ukraine is today at the center of a new security structure not only in Europe, but also in the world.

"War has changed, it will be completely different, it is already different today. And today, we, like no one else in the world, understand how this new weapon works today. Ukrainian soldiers have become the best experts today," Yermak said.
