Air defenses shoot down 88 out of 152 UAVs, 52 drones hit at 10 locations

On Tuesday night, air defense forces neutralized 88 of the 152 enemy UAVs that attacked the territory of Ukraine, recording the hits of 52 attack UAVs at ten locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at two locations, the Air Force (AF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
"On the night of October 7 (from 18:00 on October 6), the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Rostov region - the Russian Federation, 152 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the Russian Federation, Chauda – temporarily occupied Crimea, about 80 of them – Shahed UAVs," the AF said on Telegram.
It is reported that according to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 88 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types in the north and east of the country.
The attack is not over, several UAVs are still in the airspace, the AF said.
