Shmyhal: Seven more new agreements to be concluded as part of Build with Ukraine by year end
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced plans to conclude seven more new agreements by the end of the year as part of the Build with Ukraine initiative to support Ukrainian defense industry manufacturers, which includes joint production with partners abroad.
During a panel discussion at the third Defence Industries Forum (DFNC3) in Kyiv on Monday, Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine is committed to implementing joint projects with partner countries not only abroad but also launching new enterprises and production facilities on its own territory.
He recalled that, overall, cooperation has already been established with more than 25 companies under the Build with Ukraine and Build in Ukraine initiatives. The head of the department announced plans to conclude seven more new agreements under Build with Ukraine by the end of the year.
"Ukraine, together with its partners, is laying the foundation for sustainable peace and a new European security architecture. This forum is intended to become a platform for Ukrainian manufacturers, international companies, investors, and associations to jointly develop new production facilities, launch joint research projects, and implement investment initiatives," Shmyhal added.
