Zelenskyy: Ukraine will provide drones if USA delivers missiles
Ukraine is ready to sell drones of its own production to the United States, and, taking into account bilateral partnership programs, is ready to provide them if it receives American missiles, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Of course, the United States has a serious industry, they can make them themselves (drones - IF-U). But practice on the battlefield is needed. The United States has a large industry, but the industry itself says: we do not have your practice today, and, of course, your drones are the best today. And that is why I said that we are ready to sell, and taking into account our partnership, if we can have your missiles, we are ready to provide," Zelensky told reporters on Sunday.
According to him, Ukraine is ready for its companies to produce drones in the United States. In addition, two aspects always go hand in hand: the Mega Deal - regarding the purchase of American weapons, and the Drone Deal - regarding the purchase of Ukrainian drones.
"Because the Mega Deal has various missiles and corresponding air defense systems. And the Drone Deal has all the other drones that we need today, and some of which we cannot sell, and some that we can export," Zelensky explained.
