Zelenskyy raises max number of employees of the NSDC Apparatus from 237 to 252 - decree
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made changes to the structure of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) and approved the maximum number of employees of the NSDC in the amount of 252 full-time employees.
The corresponding decree No. 816/2025 "Issues of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine" dated November 3 was published on the website of the head of state.
According to the changes made to the structure of the NSDC, most services have been transformed into relevant departments, some with the unification or expansion of functions.
The Service of the Head of the NSDC Staff, the Department of Internal Security, the Department of Strategic Dialogue and Post-War Settlement, the Legal Service have been created, and the position of Chief Specialist for Internal Control has been introduced.
Instead, the Service for Prevention and Detection of Corruption, the Service for Economic Security, the Service for Legal Affairs, the Financial Service, and the Service for Coordination and Administrative Work have been liquidated.
The decree declares as invalid a similar decree No. 76/2021 of February 26, 2021, by which the maximum number of employees of the NSDC Apparatus was approved at 237 full-time employees.
