Ukraine's Emergency Service: Death toll in Ternopil rises to 32, including 6 children
The number of people killed in the Ukrainian city of Ternopil had risen to 32 as of Saturday morning, including six children, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported.
"Rescuers with the State Emergency Service discovered the body of another woman under the rubble of the destroyed building. As of this morning, the number of those killed in Ternopil has increased to 32 people, including six children," the agency said on Telegram.
Another 94 people were injured, including 18 children. Seven people are considered missing.
Emergency and rescue operations continue following the missile strike.
As reported earlier, a residential high-rise in Ternopil was destroyed as a result of a Russian missile attack. Twenty-seven people were killed, including three children. Ninety-four people were injured, among them 18 children. The fate of 13 people remains unknown.
