On the night of November 24-25, the enemy struck energy infrastructure facilities in the city of Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported on Tuesday.

"As a result of the attack, more than 40,000 consumers in Kyiv region, 20,000 in Odesa, 13,000 in Chernihiv, over 21,000 in Dnipropetrovsk region and over 8,000 in Kharkiv region were left without electricity by morning," the ministry noted.

Currently, work is underway in all affected regions to eliminate the consequences of the large-scale missile and drone attack on energy infrastructure.

Emergency outages have been applied to stabilize the situation in the energy system in Kyiv and Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions. Hourly outage schedules are currently in effect in all regions of Ukraine. Also, capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses continue to operate in most regions of Ukraine.
