General Staff reports another hit on Saratov Oil Refinery, UAV storage facilities at Saki airfield, number of other facilities

The Saratov Oil Refinery was struck once again, along with a drone storage site and several air defense facilities at the Saki airfield, areas where enemy personnel are concentrated, and fuel and lubricant depots in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on its Telegram channel Friday.

"As part of the effort to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor, on the night of November 28, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Saratov Oil Refinery in Saratov region of the Russian Federation. The plant produces over 20 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, fuel oil, diesel fuel, industrial sulfur, and others. It is used to meet the needs of the Russian occupation army," the message reads.

According to reports, a series of explosions were recorded, followed by a fire in the target area. The attack results are being clarified.

"A UAV storage site at the Saki airfield (Novofedorivka, temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) was also hit. According to preliminary information, several air defense systems at the airfield were hit, including Pantsir-S1 and TOR-M2 systems. After the enemy’s air defenses were suppressed, the hangar where the enemy Orion and Forpost drones were stored was destroyed. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck an enemy command and control center and a KamAZ military truck. The extent of the damage is being determined," the General Staff reported.

Additionally, enemy manpower concentration areas and fuel and lubricant depots in Donetsk and Luhansk regions were hit. The results are being clarified.

On November 14, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the destruction of the enemy naval base Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai, an oil refinery in Saratov region of the Russian Federation, and a fuel and lubricant storage site near Engels in Saratov region.
