Zelenskyy presents awards to relatives of Irish servicemen who died for Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena Zelenska met with the relatives of Irish volunteer soldiers who died defending Ukraine from Russian aggression during their visit to Ireland.
"Today, it is an honor for me to see you, to get to know you, and to personally present you with the awards of your children who gave their lives for Ukraine. This is an honor for Ukraine. They defended the freedom of our people at such a high price," the president said.
The head of state presented the relatives of soldiers Graham Dale, Robert Deegan, and Oleksandr Ryzhuk with the Orders of Courage, III degree, which the soldiers were awarded posthumously.
