Russia strikes energy facilities in Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia regions – official
On Friday night, Russia struck energy infrastructure facilities in the Mykolaiv and Zaporizha regions, as a result of which consumers in the Zaporizhia region, in particular in Zaporizhia, remained without electricity in the morning, Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak has said.
According to his statement during a briefing at the ministry, which was broadcast online, there are power outages in other front-line regions due to strikes on the energy sector, and after previous attacks, more than 11,000 consumers in the Odesa region remain without electricity.
Due to adverse weather conditions, 27 settlements in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and 17 settlements in the Lviv region were left without electricity. Repair crews are working to restore the lines.
Hourly outage schedules and power limitation schedules for industry and business are in effect in most regions.
