Ukraine destroys 61 of 82 enemy UAVs, hits recorded at 13 locations

Air defense eliminated 61 of 82 enemy strike drones, but 21 UAVs hit at 13 locations and debris fell on three, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.

"According to preliminary data, as of 8:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 61 enemy UAVs," the report says.

In total, on the night of January 15 (from 19:00 on January 14), the enemy attacked with 82 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas and drones of other types from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, - Russia, Gvardiyske – temporarily occupied Crimea, temporarily occupied Donetsk, about 60 of them – Shahed UAVs

As noted, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, 21 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 13 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (fragments) at three locations.

The attack continues, several enemy UAVs are in our airspace, the Air Force added.
