Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last year appealed to European leaders with a proposal to create a joint European armed forces, but so far no one has taken a single step towards this idea.

"I appealed to the leaders of Europe with this proposal at least last year. A year has passed, I will be honest, no one has taken a single step towards this idea. Maybe there will be more now because of all these challenges, maybe the leaders of Europe will think about it a little," Zelenskyy told reporters on Tuesday.
