Cessation of attacks on Ukraine's energy sector and Russian oil depots may be discussed at trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi – media
An energy truce has been discussed between Ukraine and the United States and could be a subject of negotiations at the upcoming trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi, the Financial Times reported on Thursday, citing its own sources.
An unnamed senior US official also told the Financial Times that the trilateral meeting is expected to take place in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, on Friday, January 23, and Saturday, January 24.
However, the Ukrainian side has already noted that this trilateral meeting has not yet been definitively confirmed and that Ukraine and the USA are awaiting Russia's response.
