Zelenskyy to meet with presidents of Poland and Lithuania in Vilnius – media

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold meetings in Vilnius with his Polish counterpart Karol Nawrocki and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Polish presidential press secretary Rafal Leskiewicz announced.

"This Sunday in Vilnius, during the celebrations of the 163rd anniversary of the January Uprising, three presidents will meet: those of Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine. They will jointly participate in, among other things, a holy mass in Vilnius Cathedral. This is a unifying element – a shared history, the history of the struggle against Tsarist Russia, and now the struggle of Ukrainians against the Russian Federation. This historical parallel is a good platform for negotiations," he said at the Gość Wydarzeń program on Polsat News.

The Polish president announced a meeting between Nawrocki and Zelenskyy at the Davos conference on Thursday. He added that "there are no plans to go to Kyiv or Ukraine" due to the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which falls on February 24, rmf24 reports.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an official visit to Poland on December 19 of last year. The talks between the Polish and Ukrainian leaders focused on security, historical, and economic issues.
