Ukrainian Nadia Savchenko, who is charged in Russia with the killing of Russian journalists, has been transferred from the Moscow detention facility to the Rostov region, her lawyer said.
"I have visited the detention facility today and I was not allowed to see Nadia, being told she has been transferred to Rostov," lawyer Ilya Novikov told Interfax on Friday.
Novikov said it is currently not known where Savchenko will be located.
"We expect to be notified about this," he said.
