Ukraine will cut electricity imports from Russia three-fold in Sept 2015
Ukraine will import no more than 100 million kWh of electricity from Russia in September 2015 against about 300 million kWh in August 2015, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn has said at a briefing in Kyiv.
"In September the figure will be not high, no more than 100 million kWh," he said.
The minister said that as of Tuesday, September 15, Ukraine imports electricity from Russia, first of all, because of the need for accumulating coal at power plants' warehouses.
