The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has renamed the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk (Dnipropetrovsk region) as Kamyanske, as well as renamed a number of other settlements pursuant to the law on decommunization.
Some 249 deputies supported corresponding resolution No. 4085 at a parliament meeting on May 19.
