Batkivschyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supports the adoption of the law on the occupied territories and the introduction of martial law in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, leader of the Batkivschyna faction Yulia Tymoshenko has said.

"It is necessary to finally accept that it is Russia that is waging war against Ukraine. We need, with no doubt, and I support Samopomich, to adopt the law on the occupied territories and, consequently, impose the martial law in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions to stop this loutish behavior with trafficking in the occupied territories," Tymoshenko said at a meeting of the conciliatory meeting of leaders of factions, committees and groups on Monday.
