Russian invaders leave Chornobyl NPP with captive National Guard members
Russian invaders, leaving the territory of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), took with them representatives of the National Guard, who had been captured on February 24, National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom has reported.
"Fleeing from the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, Russian occupiers have taken away the national guardsmen who have been held captive since February 24," Energoatom said in a statement on its telegram channel late Thursday night.
The company points out that this was reported by Chornobyl workers who are staying at the plant.
As reported today, the occupiers left the ChNPP site having looted it. The ChNPP had been occupied since the first day of the war on February 24, only in the 20s of March did the occupiers allow rotation of personnel, who had been there for about 600 hours without shifts and normal working conditions.
