Ukrainian army liberates eight settlements in Berdiansk, Melitopol directions
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated eight settlements in the Berdiansk and Melitopol directions, including Piatykhatky, the total area is 113 square kilometers, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar says.
"In the course of two weeks of offensive operations in the Berdiansk and Melitopol directions for the indicated period, Tavria subdivisions liberated eight settlements: Novodarivka, Levadne, Storozheve, Makarivka, Blahodatne, Lobkove, Neskuchne, Piatykhatky," she wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to her, in total, the units in the Tavria direction advanced into the depth of the enemy lines up to 7 km.
The area liberated in the south is 113 square kilometers.
Maliar also noted that the missile and artillery units of the Tavria Defense Forces completed 10,125 fire missions during the week.
The active work of the defense forces of the Tavria direction continues, Maliar added.
