Poland hands over first repaired Leopard tanks to Ukraine
Ukraine received the first Leopard tanks from Poland repaired at the Bumar-Labenda plant, the Polish Arms Group (PGZ) company reported.
"While others are making statements about the future, we are acting in agreement with the Ukrainian side. The first Leopard tanks, which underwent special modernization in Bumar-Labenda, were received by the Ukrainian side. Work continues on the following machines," the company said in a message posted on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
"This clearly demonstrates that our priority is to provide real assistance to the Ukrainian military on the front line," the message says.
PGZ also noted that it is constantly expanding cooperation in the supply of ammunition, spare parts and maintenance of equipment.
