Borrell: With bloody attack at civilians in Hroza village, Russian atrocities brought to another grim level, there will be no impunity for war crimes

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell condemned the Russian attack on the village of Hroza (Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region), noting that Russia once again proves its reluctance to stop terror against the Ukrainian people.

"Intentional attacks against civilians are war crimes. With the bloody attack at civilians in Hroza/Kupiansk, Russian atrocities are brought to yet another grim level. Russia proves again it has no intention to let up in its terror against Ukrainian people," he said on X (Twitter).

Borrell also indicated in his statement, that today there was yet another heinous attack against innocent civilians, in addition to Russia’s continued daily indiscriminate attacks near the frontlines – just earlier today Russia attacked a hospital in Beryslav, Kherson region.

"Intentional attacks against civilians are war crimes. Russia’s leadership, all commanders, perpetrators and accomplices of these atrocities will be held to account. There will be no impunity for war crimes," he said.
